AI for Business | Hands-On AI Training in Penticton, BC
In-person · Penticton, BC

Walk in curious about AI. WALK OUT ACTUALLY
USING IT.

Spend two hands-on mornings working alongside an entrepreneur who uses Claude every day to think, analyze, write, build, and make better business decisions faster. I'll show you exactly how I use it across my own businesses, live on screen. Then you'll follow along using your own business, your own information, and a real problem you want to solve.

Taught by Max Picton, an entrepreneur who built Canada's first fully automated storage facility and now uses AI throughout his multiple businesses.

Claude
Hands-on with Claude

AI is everywhere. Except where you actually need it.

You keep hearing that AI is going to change business. But your quotes still take too long. Your inbox still holds follow-ups you meant to send. Important knowledge still lives in your head. The marketing project keeps getting pushed back. The numbers get reviewed when you finally find a quiet afternoon.

Maybe you have tried ChatGPT or Claude. You asked it a few questions, got generic answers, and could not see how any of it connected to the real work sitting on your desk. That does not mean AI is not useful for your business. It usually means nobody has shown you how to set it up properly, give it the right context, and use it as part of a repeatable way of working.

BUILT FOR BUSINESS PEOPLE. NOT TECH COMPANIES.

This training is designed for owners, managers, operators, and key employees whose work runs through emails, quotes, documents, spreadsheets, proposals, customer information, repetitive follow-ups, and knowledge stored in someone's head.

No technical background required. If you can send an email and explain how your business works, you can do this.

This is not a presentation about AI.

Over two mornings, you will watch the complete working process unfold. I work from a rough voice note — nothing prebuilt, nothing prepared in advance. You will see how I move from a messy first thought to finished business work: how I decide what to ask, how I give Claude the right context, how I fix weak output, and how I turn the best workflows into systems I can reuse.

THEN IT'S YOUR TURN.

After each major demonstration, you work through the same technique using your own business. Your own documents. Your own numbers. The real bottleneck or project you brought with you. I move around the room and help you apply it directly.

You see the method. You use the method. You leave knowing how to do it again.

A simple method you'll actually use.

Know the Problem Build the System Use the Tool

Most people begin with the tool. They type a vague question, get a mediocre answer, and decide AI is overhyped. We begin with the business problem, build the right context around it, and only then put Claude to work. Every major demonstration is followed by direct application to your own business.

Day 1

Foundation, First Wins & the Setup

  • Find your real bottleneck or stalled project
  • Pull prompting: voice-dump, Claude fills the gaps
  • Configure Claude for your company and role
  • Build a real Project with your own documents
  • Work with email, financials, quotes, and scopes
  • Voice-driven review: think and edit without typing

By noon, Claude knows your business — and you've already used it on real work.

Day 2

How Far This Actually Goes

  • Turn rough information into a strategy or business case
  • Navigate tenders, proposals, and unfamiliar documents
  • Build a complete marketing campaign from a single brief
  • Create a working landing page
  • Combine strategy, financials, and risk into one artifact
  • Turn the same source into a financial model and presentation
  • Save, repeat, and delegate your best workflows

You leave with the full system in your head and at least one useful piece of work built for your business.

Learn from someone using this in real businesses every day.

Max Picton
Entrepreneur & Business Operator
Max Picton

Max has spent more than 20 years building and operating businesses across construction, hospitality, real estate, self-storage, and technology. He built Canada's first fully automated storage facility and now uses AI across strategy, operations, marketing, financial analysis, and day-to-day decision-making.

This training was built by opening up that real working process — you work alongside Max, see exactly how he thinks and builds, then apply the same approach to your own business.

On the right kind of work, Claude lets me produce in hours what once took days or even weeks to create. For two mornings, I'm opening up that process and helping you build the same capability around your business.

Not just ideas. A different way of working.

You will not personally build every item shown in the demonstration. You will build the foundation, apply the techniques to your own information, and leave with real progress on the work that matters to your business.

A Claude setup built around your business Memory, instructions, a real Project, and business context that make future answers more relevant.
A clearly defined business problem or project Something taken out of your head and turned into a structured plan you can actually move forward.
Hands-on experience using your own information Work with your own documents, financial information, inbox, quotes, scope, or business context rather than only watching demonstrations.
Useful work already started Build or meaningfully advance at least one analysis, workflow, plan, campaign, page, or business asset, plus a method you can use on the next task.

One recovered quote, one better decision, or one project finally moving — that's your investment back. Save two hours a week and the training pays for itself inside a month. A day of consulting costs more and ends when the engagement does.

You're not paying for a result. You're paying for the ability to produce them.

WATCH A ROUGH VOICE NOTE BECOME A COMPLETE BUSINESS CASE.

Our demonstration uses a fictional company considering a significant business decision or expansion. At the beginning of Day One, the entire idea is little more than a messy voice note. By the end of Day Two, that same idea has become a connected set of professional business assets.

ONE SOURCE · MULTIPLE PROFESSIONAL OUTPUTS

Six hours. Thousands of dollars worth of work.

The kind a consultant would spend weeks producing — built live, in the room, while you follow along on your own business.

The point is not that every business needs an expansion strategy. The point is seeing how one properly built AI system can carry context forward and produce useful work across strategy, financial analysis, communication, marketing, and decision-making.

The techniques you learn apply to any area of your business — and you'll keep using them long after the two mornings are done.

Common questions

Do I need to be technical?
No. This training is designed for business owners, managers, and professionals rather than developers. If you can explain how your business works, send an email, and use a laptop, you have the skills required.
Is this for beginners or experienced AI users?
Both can benefit, but for different reasons. A beginner will leave with a practical foundation and a working setup. Someone who has already used ChatGPT or Claude will see a much more structured way to use context, Projects, documents, voice, integrations, and repeatable workflows. We begin using the tool almost immediately.
Why Claude and not ChatGPT?
There are hundreds of AI tools, and trying to cover all of them would leave you more overwhelmed than when you started. We go deep on one highly capable tool and use it across real business work. More importantly, the operating method carries over: Know the Problem. Build the System. Use the Tool.
Do I need a paid Claude account?
Yes. A paid Claude account is required so you have access to the capacity and features used during the training. The subscription is separate from the course registration. You will receive clear setup instructions before the first morning.
What do I need to bring?
Bring a charged laptop, headphones with a built-in microphone, one business document you are comfortable using privately, and a real bottleneck or project you want to work on. Useful documents could include a quote template, price list, service description, financial summary, scope of work, tender, proposal, customer email, or internal process document. Optional business photos are useful if you may want to create a page.
What will I personally build?
Everyone will build a personalized Claude setup, a real business Project, and a structured version of a business problem or project. You will also use the system on your own information and build or meaningfully advance at least one useful analysis, workflow, plan, campaign, page, or business asset. The exact output depends on your business and the problem you bring.
Will I personally build every item shown in the sample company demonstration?
No. The sample covers a large range of what a properly built Claude system can produce across the two mornings. You follow the same methods, but your personal output should fit the real needs of your company. The goal is not to make everyone build the same landing page or financial model. The goal is to teach you how to apply the method to the work that matters to you.
Will other participants see my business information?
Not unless you choose to share it. You work on your own laptop and control which documents, numbers, emails, and business information you use. You may work with rough, simplified, or anonymized information if you prefer.
Do I have to connect my email?
No. Email and calendar workflows are demonstrated because they are useful to many businesses, but connecting an account is optional. You can watch the demonstration or work with a different document or workflow.
Is this an automation course?
Not primarily. The focus is learning how to use Claude effectively while you remain involved in the work. You will also see where more advanced delegated and automated workflows can go next, but the course does not promise to automate your entire business in six hours. The foundation comes first.
Why should I bring my team?
AI adoption often fails when one person attends a course and returns to a team that does not understand the new process. Bringing a manager or key employee means you learn the same method, use the same language, divide implementation work, and make it more likely the new workflows survive after the course.
What if I cannot attend one of the mornings?
The sessions build on each other, so you should plan to attend both. If something unexpected happens, reach out as soon as possible and we will discuss moving your registration to another available cohort.
What is the refund policy?
You may cancel for a full refund up to seven days before the first session. After that, your registration may be credited toward a future cohort. You are also protected by the Session One guarantee. Attend the first morning and decide for yourself. If you do not believe the course will be useful, tell Max before leaving and receive a full refund.
Can you run this privately for my company?
Yes. The Company Workshop is a private version built around your specific business, team, information, and workflows. The price is $5,500.

Stop reading about AI. Start using it.

Spend two mornings seeing exactly how an experienced entrepreneur uses Claude to complete real business work. Then follow along and build the same capability around your company. Bring your laptop. Bring one real problem. Leave knowing what to do next. Only 8 seats per cohort. July 8-9, or July 15-16, 2026 in Penticton, BC.
